Seis discos con ejemplos musicales complementarios del Libro El estudio de la Orquestación (The Study of Orchestration) de Samuel Adler

A new set of six enhanced CDs— recorded at the Eastman School of Music specifically for use with The Study of Orchestration— provides aural reinforcement of the examples in the text and workbook. In addition to state-of-the-art digital sound quality, the CDs contain HD-TV-quality video clips of musicians demonstrating orchestral techniques on a variety of instruments.

Providing more than just music, the enhanced CDs contain:

- Instrument pages feature video clips of various playing techniques on specific instruments. Students can access the score of the music being played on the video, hear one or more audio examples that illustrate the technique or instrument, view the score of the audio example, and link to related screens, such as the various brass mutes or close-up shots of a string player’s finger movement.
- Two glossaries, one of music terms and playing techniques and the other of instrument names in all major European languages, are hyperlinked to relevant video clips.
- The Composer Index includes biographical sketches of each composer whose music is featured on the CDs, highlighting the composer’s innovations in orchestration technique. A list of works for each composer is hyperlinked to audio clips of the works and video clips that demonstrate relevant playing techniques.

- CD 1: Digital audio examples for Chapter 2-4, and high-definition videos of all string instruments
- CD 2: Digital audio examples for Chapter 5-7, and high-definition videos of all woodwind instruments
